Point of view about a particular thing

This picture depicts clearly how people can differ in their point of views from one another. Some of us stablish the fact so strongly that nothing else is true but just what they believe in. 

We may never come to understand if one of the two is ready to at least listen and still better if wanting to give it a thought without any judgement in it. 

It is always possible for anyone to give it a try in this regard.

Hello everyone !

A great meaningful festival is once again at the very threshold. One more day to go and I am sure we are all set to welcome and celebrate this festival, the festival of 'Light'. As we acclaim the festival of 'Light' let it be the same. I don't think we should change the very meaning of this celebration by contributing on an enormous level of Air and Sound pollution. After all how can we celebrate on the cost of others' irritation (when we go on cracking and blasting the crackers - sometimes continuously for 5 to 10 minutes)

Its a celebration of the Victory of Truth over Evil. Light represents the truth can never be hidden just like the light will be seen anywhere it is.

Light, not the pollution ! 

Have a great celebration, Bring the happiness into the lives of each other not the pain !

Looking for "why" of it

I'm feeling it severely these days...what I preach, is it practical?
Is it so simple as it sounds, to speak the language that others understand? The language of love...! I don't think so...

Youth vocation and DB ARK’s Preparation on it

Vocare (Lat.) means ‘To call’. Vocation (Eng.) means ‘a call’.

There might be different opinions to ‘call’, depending upon the one who explains it. Religious have their call which differs from those of lay majority. There is a misconception about ‘being called’ into different fields of our existing realities like ‘Faith’, ‘service’, ‘work’, etc.

The young doesn’t really like the word “Vocation” because it is misunderstood on a large scale in our society today. These days people immediately connect ‘Vocation’ to God’s call to leave away everything and start to follow Him, remain bachelor, forego all that flesh desires which may lead you to sin and as a result Hell is where you’ll land up. The youth today is allergic to all this and doesn’t believe in all this so called “Faith” based ideas.

A traditional, monotonous church or a priest doesn’t like this type of behavior and takes it as the sin against the Lord. As a result there comes a gap between the church, its teachings and the young people.

Young people today are out of reach of any ‘Vocation’ today or even if they hear they neglect it. May be they don’t understand that it is not limited to a particular, biased ideas of faith. The call can be for anything that you’re supposed to respond to, because you’re here on earth for a purpose, and if you don’t figure it out and do the needful, it remains undone. Hence we must let everyone know that its not an accident that we are here. There is a purpose of one’s being here.

The Catholic Church has decided to dedicate this ‘Synod 2018’ focusing on the need and the potential of the young in the church. Present Pope has said “the church will be ugly if there are no young people in it…” This is a very serious issue which should be the top most on our priority list.

DB ARK has always been following the philosophy of the founder Himself, Don Bosco. He said “no boy, no girl, is a bad boy or a bad girl.” That means all are ‘good’. It is so, all that happens in or through DB ARK, it runs through a common thread. All our programs invite young people (be it students, teachers or even parents) to find out that goodness in them that God has implanted. This goodness reverberates as it comes in contact with another human being (Ref. Mary goes to meet her cousin Elizabeth and Jesus, ‘the Good News’ leaps for joy in her womb). It compels the other people to do ‘good’ to others because inspires (Ref. to Bible: Let your light so shine before men…).

DB ARK invites the young and the youth workers to response to the call from within, board the ARK (Ref. to Noah’s ark) and respond. The call to identify that ‘Goodness’ in themselves, Nourish it, Share it with others (Inspire) and Empower them. 

DAAD (Do an ARK A Day) is one such initiative started by DB ARK which is catching up by leaps and bounds in majority of the places where we go. ARK stands for Act of random Kindness. It is a way of life, an empathic response to the need of a random living being. The young is called (vocation) to be loving and lovable by being sensitive to their needs.

Another noble step taken by DB ARK in the way of calling the young people is to make them friends with those who are less privileged. It is known as PY-YAR, where Privileged youth (PY) initiates a proposal for friendship with one who is a Young At Risk (YAR). Over a course of time they become aware of each other quiet well, including their life style and the situations in life. Hence they become empathic and care for each other.

The responses are great and exciting. We believe and assure you Synod 2018 that we are already with you. We carry out the same what you intend for calling such an extra ordinary gathering centered around and dedicated for the Young of the whole world.

With all my imperfections

Life is too short to wait to be perfect and then do something. Time never demands you to be the best and then respond. All it needs a response the best that you can, in the very moment.
Examples, models other people's testimonies and their way of leading life may, or may not help you give your best. It is not what you do what matters, no,  but what matters is that...why you do it.

In the course of time I discovered that I'm not a perfect lover. Well, I can never be I think. Infact nobody can be I guess. We  fall trapped with our weaknesses. It is taken sometimes, very seriously by the other person. Deep hurts are sometimes the results of misunderstandings. We try to understand each other with our point of view. Which definitely is different from others.
When someone fails to understand you, you try to either avoid the person or hate him or her or sometimes even we try to practice 'tit for tat', a very old school lesson.

Now, as it comes to those people in your life whom you love. If you misunderstand each other it is very severe, it is very sad situation. You get too emotionally down. But then...it doesn't let you be in this situation for a long. You care for him or her even though you are hurt deepest than ever...😊
Your very tone (after the event, no matter how bad it was) conveys that...I care for you honey...😇
Heyy...have you got somebody whom you love...no matter what? If yes, (and I am damn sure we all have one or the other such person) go and let him or her know...that...I do care for you honey...

Just Love...n everything will be fine...! Just love! And you don't have to be perfect to love someone...😊 All the best.

Perception

I saw a nice quotation on the display board in my office today. It was there since ling but I was struck by it today only. It reads:
"If you don't like something change it, and if you vacant change it, change the way you think about it."

Of course it's a very tendency of us, the humans, to change what we don't like...n we try to change into something worth liking. (Now guess what is it we try to change? Well most often we try to change others' behaviour because they don't behave the way we want them to...)
But how many times does it happen that people change because we wanted them to...? (We all know our response I hope)

To tell you the truth we all struggle in this regard. I'm writing about it but I too am a victim of it. But I have a hope in the later portion of this quotation...
So I, with great difficulty, try not to be judgemental of people's behaviour. I am working towards a complete belief that yess...people are different so let the people be...!,
It's all i can change my mindset...and  miraculously, the whole scenario will be changed.

Change the mindset...and the best is yet to come...

I will ...

...I didn't just care about anything which tried to come in between me and my passion...I went on...living my passion...loving it each day more and more... understanding every blockage in the way...but not getting influenced...eventhough they could move me a bit at times...but my will for what I love...kept me going...it always brought me back on the track...n I always will...be on the way to love more genuinely and deeper than ever...it doesn't need to be that you achieve what you love but it is in caring about your ...for each and everything...I hope I too understand it when I deal with the situations and be able to respond lovingly...
Come what may...

Thinking of love

When I get gloomy I reflect on myself, the way that I deal with the people whom I love...then I see people, doing wonderful small small things for each other's, hugging, kissing n talking with each other, waving hand to see off with a hope to meet as soon as possible again, buying a small thing/s for their loved ones n gifting it, sparkling eyes while reading the text message of ...? (Yes, you guessed it correctly😊). These are all the messages of love. But often they're not expressed in a way they they should be expressed.
But love needs to be expressed.
One thinks s/he loves a lot but if fails to express it, it fails to convey.
It needs language to convey that you care that you love. Language not that you know the best...language that your beloved ine understands the best.

I'm here again, amidst of crazy nature loving people. Some are just looking at the lake and trying to enjoy the pleasant breeze flowing. There are these friends sitting together excited about something that they're showing to each other, taking selfie.
Clouds now just coming slowly trying to cover the whole vale. A few boats rowing in the lake.
Something about this place that demands you to stay. It asks you to be here n live in the moment for a while.
For me it is the valley all total. There's this very point where so many people come and meet, they chat, sit together, eat, purchase the things...make memories. It may sound strange but the one who's the most important in your life, has also have been here, sometimes with family or friends, if not with you.
I'm also sitting here but I am imagining if I were with her, right here right now. The beautiful thing is that she also has been here.😊
Will I come back again here? I don't know. But till the time I'm here let me make the best of this time.
